This event was cancelled before due to uncontrollable circumstances, but we have it back on the schedule now.
We’re going to meet up at picnic shelter 4 at Edwin Warner Park for this. We’ll have some playtime from 10:30am till the Walden’s Puddle folks arrive at 11:15am. They will be doing a presentation about local wildlife and what they do at their rehabilitation facility. After that we’ll break out the portable grills and cook some hot dogs, and have lunch!
If you aren’t familiar with them, Walden’s Puddle is a wildlife rehabilitiation center. They care for only native animals, and provide educational sessions to private groups. For more information, check out their website at:
They are completely non-profit, and they usually collect donations at these events to help them to keep doing what they do. We are hoping that anyone who comes can bring a little cash (or check out their site for wishlist items they need) to help them out and show our appreciation.
Looking forward to this, and again I am sorry for the re-schedule!!!
